My past was filled with sadness and difficulty. As a child, I never really had a secure home life. My mother and father were constantly fighting, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a adolescent. I was compelled to bounce around between different relatives’ houses, never really feeling like I belonged.

Despite all of the challenges I faced, I always found relief in video games. They provided me with an escape route from the turmoil of my real life and allowed me to become absorbed in imaginary worlds. I spent hours upon hours playing games, becoming more and more skilled as time went on.

And then, someday, something happened changed my life indefinitely. I was engaging in a game online with a few friends when I was suddenly disconnected from the server. At first, I speculated it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been disconnected due to an outstanding bill that my mom and father had neglected to pay.

I was destroyed. How was I going to be able to manage to play my favorite games without any internet? Yet, rather than mope in self-pity, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I initiated saving up my allowance and doing odd jobs for neighbors in order to pay for my own internet service. It was not an easy, but eventually, I was able to get back online and continue the games that I loved.

As to develop my skills and discover new games, I recognized that I had a genuine passion for video gaming. I made the decision to launch a blog to share my experiences and insights with others who were also passionate about gaming. It was a small operation at first, but as I gained followers, my blog took off.

Now, I’m a full-time and blogger, sharing of video games with the world. It’s not always easy, but it’s a zeal that keeps going, and I am happier.
